For the second consecutive year, Loyola has received a distinctive award from its workers compensation insurer, Louisiana Workers Compensation Corporation (LWCC). Each year LWCC  awards its "Safest 70" policyholders with special recognition for maintaining consistently safe workplaces.  The award is based on the effectiveness of safety efforts in preventing injuries and controlling losses and is given to the top 70 of nearly 20,000 entities insured by LWCC.
