Some concerns were raised at this Fall's meeting and training session for Loyola's Building Coordinators. Specifically, questions related to how University Police responds to fire alarms needed to be addressed. Loyola's Emergency Building Evacuation Procedures now include a section that explains what University Police does or will do when responding to an alarm. Other questions are currently being addressed by Emergency Management and University Police. Revisions to the Building Coordinator Roster and the Broadway Campus evacuation map have also been uploaded.
The annual training session is required for all Building Coordinators and provides an important venue for sharing lessons learned and addressing any concerns or confusion that has arisen from prior incidents. If you have experienced some concern or problem during a building evacuation, please identify your Building Coordinator to let them know.
