Off Campus Armed Robbery Uptown

On 2/9/2017, at approximately 1:30 am, a female, Tulane affiliate was walking at Zimple and Lowerline Streets, when she was approached from behind by an unknown subject. The subject placed his hand on the victim’s shoulder and pointed a gun at the victim’s back. As the victim turned around, she observed the subject holding an unknown type semi-automatic weapon. The subject stated “gimme that” and snatched the victim’s iphone from her hand. The victim then observed a second unknown subject standing a few feet behind the gunman as if to be a lookout. Both subjects then fled the scene on foot down Zimple Street towards Pine Street, then unknown.

The victim described the suspects as follows:
1) Male/Black, 18-20 yoa, 5’6, thin build, wearing all black clothing.
2) Male/Black, 18-20 yoa, wearing all black clothing.
