From Tulane Campus Police: Off Campus Armed Robbery

1900 Blk. Broadway

At approximately 2:35am, a student was walking northbound in the 1900 block of Broadway Street when the subject approached and asked for a lighter. The subject produced a pistol and demanded the victim's belongings. The subject was able to get $3.00 cash and two debit cards.

The subject fled on foot northbound on Broadway Street and observed two other students sitting on the front porch in the 1900 block of Broadway Street. The subject again asked for a lighter and produced a pistol demanding their belongings. The subject was able to get a cell phone. Subject fled northbound on foot towards Claiborne Avenue then unknown.


The victim described the suspects as follows:
Black male, 20-25 years old, approximately 5'07 with a slim build wearing all black jogging/track suit, black baseball type hat, shoulder length dreadlocks, no facial hair.
