University search committees may be formed to screen candidates for staff positions. Search committees must coordinate their work with the recruitment efforts of the Department of Human Resources. The Director of Human Resources must be consulted by the search committee to ensure that consistent and valid selection procedures are followed in accordance with EEOC Guidelines.
The Department of Human Resources should be contacted to initiate a staff search committee.
