All new employees of Loyola University New Orleans are required to attend a New Employee Orientation Program. The program is designed to welcome new employees, thoroughly acquaint them with policies and information important to working at Loyola, and ensure that each employee is properly registered for payroll and benefits.
New staff orientation is generally held once per month or as needed. New faculty orientation is held at the beginning of each academic year. Notification is sent to each new faculty or staff member notifying him or her of the time and place of his or her orientation session.
